In Portland, Maine there is a lighthouse called the Portland Breakwater Light but it is also nicknamed the “Bug Light.” It was constructed in 1855 and first lit in 1875. It was built in the Greek Revival style and has been an icon in this part of Maine for many years. We created this pendant for a Portland local and the granite stone seen at the bottom of the lighthouse was also sourced locally from the surrounding shores near the Bug Light. This pendant was carefully designed and constructed with a ton of detail and it’s pretty stylish too!
